1. Using the app
Fun Xiangqi is provided for personal, non-commercial use. You may play as much as you like, on as many of your own devices as you like, in either supported language.
2. Your account
Your account is created through Sign in with Apple on iPhone or Google Sign-In on Android, and belongs to you. You are responsible for what happens under it. One person, one account — additional accounts created to manipulate ratings will be removed.
3. Fair play
Online matches are between people. Using an engine, a second device, or outside help in a rated online game is the one behaviour that gets an account suspended without warning.
No engine assistance in online matches
No deliberate rating manipulation, including arranged losses
No relaying moves from a spectator to a player
Hints inside the app are always allowed — they make the game unrated automatically
4. Subscriptions, Lifetime and credits
Fun Pro is sold in seven forms and every one of them unlocks exactly the same features. Six are subscriptions — weekly, monthly, two-monthly, three-monthly, six-monthly and yearly — billed through your Apple ID or your Google Play account and renewing automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Lifetime is a single payment of $39.99: it never renews, is never billed again, and does not appear among your subscriptions because it is not one. Credits are earned in the game, cannot be purchased, and have no cash value. Content unlocked with credits remains available to you.
The yearly plan includes a 3-day free trial for first-time subscribers, after which it charges $29.99 per year unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends
Cancel any subscription in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings — cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves Pro active until the period you already paid for runs out
Prices are shown in your local currency at checkout and are set by the store, not by us
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies; we cannot issue them ourselves
5. What we owe you
We aim to keep the game available and the ratings honest. Online play depends on your connection and on our servers, and neither is guaranteed to be perfect. A match voided by a disconnection costs neither player rating and refunds any credit spent.
6. Content and ownership
The app, its artwork and its mascots are ours. The game of Xiangqi belongs to everyone and always has. Your games are yours — you may share, publish or export them freely.
7. Suspension
We may suspend an account for cheating in online play or for abusive use of the contact form. We will tell you why, and you can reply to a person about it.
8. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that affects you, we will say so in the app before the change takes effect, and the version and date at the top of this page will change.
