How to Play Against the AI Player PRO

Steps
Open New game
In the Home tab, under "START A BATTLE", tap the "New game" card ("Choose an opponent and start").
Pick the AI Player opponent
Under "Opponent", tap the "AI Player" card ("Adapts to your rating, plays smarter as you improve"). This opponent needs Fun Pro; an "Adapts to you" card replaces the level chips.
Choose your side and time control
Under "Your side", pick "Red", "Black", or "Random". Under "Time control", pick "No clock" or a clock preset such as "10 + 5".
Start the match
Tap "Start game" to begin playing.
Move your pieces
Tap a piece, then tap a highlighted point to move it there.
Resign if you need to stop
Open "Match options" from the board header, then hold the resign button ("Hold to resign") until it fills.
Before you start
The AI Player is a Fun Pro opponent, so you'll need Fun Pro before its card unlocks in the app. Once you're set, opening a match against it takes the same first steps as any solo game: open the "New game" card from the Home tab, then pick an opponent. What makes the AI Player different
Where the Classic engine gives you nine fixed levels to pick from, the AI Player has none. Instead of a level strip, the pre-game setup shows an "Adapts to you" card: the opponent matches its strength to your rating and keeps adjusting as you improve, so it should feel like a fair fight without you having to tune anything yourself. Everything else about starting the match — your side, the time control, and the move controls on the board — works exactly the same as it does against the Classic engine.
Tips
- Not sure the AI Player is worth it yet? Try a few games against the Classic engine's higher levels first — both opponents share the same board and controls, so nothing else changes when you switch.
- A game can run long if you pick "No clock". If you'd rather keep things brisk, one of the clock presets, like "10 + 5", keeps both sides moving.
- Mid-game, you can always step away cleanly: open "Match options" from the board header and hold the resign button until it fills. A partial hold cancels, so there's no accidental resign.
Quick questions
Do I need Fun Pro to play the AI Player? Yes. The AI Player card is Pro-only. If you'd rather start without Pro, the Classic engine's first four levels are free.
Can I choose how strong the AI Player is? No. It has no level chips — it adapts to your rating automatically as you play, instead of you picking a fixed level.
Can I still see legal moves and resign mid-game? Yes, both work exactly as in any solo match: tap a piece to see its highlighted destinations, and hold the resign button in "Match options" whenever you want to stop.
